Instructions for installing updates do not work for me!
I'm trying to update my Microsoft Office Word since it constantly crashes
because of it wanting to go online. The crash advice told me to do so. However, there are two areas where I cannot follow the instructions because they don't work. Following is one of them: 1. To install the Office Update Installation Engine ActiveX control..... 2. Right-click on the Info Bar and select Install ActiveX Control (shown below.) When I right click there is no "install" option It also suggested that I 1. Go to Office Update 2. Click "Check for Updates"... 3. Click "Options" in teh upper right (below "Go" button) this is where it's different 4. On the "Options fur using Office Updates" page, select "Use larger update files..." this option is not available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, What is the "In the Internet Explorer Security Warning dialog" I don't see something named that! Please help! I can't use WORD and I need WORD!!!!! , click the Install button. |
