Document View Layout after Mail Merge
Hi there. Got a problem affecting Word 97 and Word Xp users. The output
document from a mail merge is displayed in "Normal" View even though the "input" or "template" document used in the merge is displayed in "Print Layout" View. Not keen on running macros after the merge to alter the View. Any ideas gratefully received!!! Thanks James |

Hi ?B?SmFtZXMgU3BlbmNlcg==?=,
Got a problem affecting Word 97 and Word Xp users. The output document from a mail merge is displayed in "Normal" View even though the "input" or "template" document used in the merge is displayed in "Print Layout" View. Not keen on running macros after the merge to alter the View. Any ideas gratefully received!!! This doesn't sound familiar... What view do the users get when the click the "New document" button? Also, have the Word XP user hold down CTRL when starting Word (to go into Safe mode), then have them test the mail merge. Still see the same thing, or is it different? If it's different, you may have an Addin that's "helping" execute mail merge.
