Default How can I always display Headers & Footers when Opening a New Docu

For some unknown reason Word has started displaying the Print View minus the
Headers and Footers set on Templates. If the Template has nil H & F then the
Cursor is positioned close to the top of the visible page in Print View,
rather than at the set distance from to top edge.

Any suggestions gratefully received, regards

From the Tools menu, select Options, then go to the View tab and check the
box against "White space between pages (Print view only)" in the Print and
Web Layout options section of the dialog. Or, move the mouse pointer to the
top of the Page so that the pointer becomes two vertically opposed arrow
heads with the tip "Show white space" and left click.

Hope this helps.

Big THANK YOU Doug, it had to be in there but needs a little trawling to
discover. As always the mystery is how did it get changed in the first place
[Nil answer expected, as I guess you are a busy Guy]?

It did indeed help and true to form MS has multiple ways of doing things.

Very best regards,

With the white space displayed, if you drag the mouse over the gap between
the two pages and left click with the mouse, you can hide it.
