Can I include TextBoxes & tables in searche made within Word 2000
Hi Dick,
Word can search in items that are in the 'text layer' (i.e. it does 'flat world' searching. If the table has wrapping turned on, or if a graphic or shape is not formatted as 'inline with text' (Textboxes would be formatted as 'wrapped' in Word 2000) then Edit=Find can't 'see them'. A quick test is to switch to 'Normal' view. If you can't see the table or textbox then it won't be found using the Edit=Find menu item. =========== "Dick Getty" Dick wrote in message ...
