How do I convert Word to ASCII format using the legal template? I
have Word 2000

Hi, grokme. One way would be to configure your "Generic/Text Only" printer
to print to the "FILE:" port, and the print your document to that printer,
which will create an ascii file that includes the line numbers and page
numbers. For best results, you should use a monospaced font such as Courier
New in your document.
