Default Accidental double spaces between words

In Word 2003, is there a way to catch the mistake of putting two spaces
between words instead of a single space?

I'm thinking there should be an option in Auto Correct or somewhere in Word.
I'm thinking I've seen the double space error highlighted with a little
squiggly line at one point.

In the Grammar settings, you can choose the number of spaces you want
between *sentences.* If you select 1, Word will mark two spaces as
incorrect, but only (I suspect) in situations it deems to be "between
sentences." I generally handle this by running Find over a document when
editing is complete, replacing two spaces with one, just in case there are
any I haven't caught.

Spelling & Grammar Check will flag 2 spaces between words even if the
Grammar settings are set to not check spaces between sentences... however,
it won't flag occurrences of *3 or more* consecutive spaces.

That's actually pretty useful, especially for users who use spaces instead
of tabs (or in lieu of centering).
