how do i add text to a combo box in word?
i want to be able to add text to a combo box as well as be able to add text
anywhere i need within the document. i have used the forms toolbar but once i protect the form i cannot type anything within the document. if i leave it unlocked, i cannot work the combo box. |

Mmmm. What you can use is going to depend on whether you'll have problems if you trigger macro security? Additionally, it would help to know what you expect from a dropdown list. Does this have to be in the text, or could it possibly be in a toolbar? Will the selection have to be able to flow with the text, or will it always be on its own (one) line?
