Default apply same style to paragraphs in different areas of document

How do I apply the same style to different areas of a document. Meaning, not
going paragraph by paragraph but a way of selecting the areas I want en mass,
and applying the style?

Select with the mouse, then press and hold the CTRL key and select more.

If you are assigning anything but a character style, make sure your
selection consists of whole paragraphs only.
