Default why when opening a word doc on another pc it looks and prints dif.

can anyone help. I have two machines but when i open a word doc on both thay
look different and the layout is different and print different too. How do i
rectify this ?

Yes they are both word 2003. One pc is a desktop the other is a notebook.

Check that you have the same fonts installed on both machines. Also check
whether the screen fonts have been 'smoothed' on both machines [Control Panel
-- Display] -- this makes a big diiference to the appearance of fonts on
screen.

Have you used the same SCreen View on both machines? {ie Print Layout etc..]
