Office Clipboard
Hey all
I have a query relating to the clipboard. The issue occurs when Word (for example) is not runnning and I copy something, then open Word to paste the image into a new document, the clipboard contains no information and therefore I am unable to paste the image. If however Word is open then I do the copy and paste it works. I assume this has something to do with the Office Clipboard, however it is really annoying. Is there a way to work around this, or is it by design? It appears to happen in Office 2000 and 2003 (Havent tested 2002). Cheers Cameron |

Cheers Cameron Hi Cameron, I don't believe it has anything to do with the Office clipboard. More likely it's an add-in that clears the Windows clipboard on startup. Do you have the Works Add-In on these machines? That stinker is well-known to pull that trick, and is best uninstalled. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
