cross-reference quoteI wants quotation marks around xref text
How do I make Word put quotation marks around the text of an xref/hyperlink?
The default appearance looks like plain text in a printed document, which confuses my readers. For example, I have xrefs that looks like this: For more info, see API summary. What I want is: For more info, see "API summary". Actually, what I want is: For more info, see "API summary" on page 56. |

Put quotation marks around your REF field. You will need two REF fields to
cross-reference both the heading and the page number. -- Suzanne S. Hi Becky,
In that case, you have to type the quotes around the xref yourself. Cheers "Becky Brenner" Becky wrote in message ... How do I make Word put quotation marks around the text of an xref/hyperlink? Do you mean to manually type the quotes around the xref created by Word, or
is there a way to make it happen automatically? "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: Put quotation marks around your REF field.
