How to set the line spacing for the whole document?
Hi,
I am using MS Office Word 2003 SP2. I start with a blank document and want to insert a picture from a file by Insert/Picture/From File. No problem. Once I exit from that dialog box, I end up with a chopped off version of my picture in my document. I have to go to: Format/Paragraph and then in the "Line Spacing" dropdown it shows "Exactly". By changing this to "Single" and then click OK, when the dialog box closes my document shows the picture I just inserted properly formatted. So my question is this: what do I have to do in order to prevent this from happening? I don't want to have to go and reformat the line spacing every time I insert a picture. Is there a way to fix this so that it becomes part of normal.dot? This is very annoying especially when trying to write a document where I am inserting many screenshots. I would highly appreciate any info on this, please. regards, joe |

See the "To change a style" section in http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Custom...alTemplate.htm for more information. am wrote: Hi, I am using MS Office Word 2003 SP2. Start by restoring Normal style to "Single" spacing. Then define a Body Text
style with the Exact spacing required and a Picture style with Single spacing. Apply as appropriate. -- Suzanne S.
