How to create subheadings for repeating field in mail merge direct
I'm sure an older version of word used to allow a subheading to be created
for repeating fields when producing a merged list in mail merge (for instance summarising data by State). Can anyone direct me to how this is easily done without resorting to Access? |

How to create subheadings for repeating field in mail merge direct
Hi ?B?Q2FmZSBTcG9ydA==?=,
I'm sure an older version of word used to allow a subheading to be created for repeating fields when producing a merged list in mail merge (for instance summarising data by State). Can anyone direct me to how this is easily done without resorting to Access? Actually, no, mail merge has never had any tools for dealing with "one-to-many", at least not directly. There are a couple of alternate approaches, one of which you may be recalling vaguely.
