How do I change the font size of captions?
I'm typing manuals in Times New Roman 12 point. When I add a caption, it
comes out in 10 point, left justification. The requestor wants ALL text to be the same size, and captions must be centered. I've been just going in and changing the text size after Word puts in the caption, but it's starting to botherme. Surely, there must be a way to change the default size of caption text and justification. |

In Word 2002 or 2003, click on Format | Styles and Formatting | Show:
Custom | select the Caption style and modify it as desired. Ken Roller wrote: I'm typing manuals in Times New Roman 12 point. When I add a caption, it comes out in 10 point, left justification. Thanks guys! You're two of my fave animals! :-) I was a little confused (Odie
will understand!) 'cause I was clicking ON the style, not down at the bottom right of the window on "Styles..." BOY!! Does THAT make it easy! Have a doggone good day and may no CAT astrophe come your way! ;-) "garfield-n-odie" wrote: In Word 2002 or 2003, click on Format | Styles and Formatting | Show: Custom | select the Caption style and modify it as desired. If the style is displayed in the Styles and Formatting task pane (often
they're not), you can click the arrow beside it and choose Modify..., which is even simpler. -- Suzanne S.
