Embedding a Excel file icon
Trying to embed an excel document into a word document so that it is an icon
in the document. Once the icon is clicked it would open the excel document. Is that possible? |

Embedding a Excel file icon
In MS Word: Click on Insert | Object.
Click on the Create from File tab Browse to where your Excel spreadsheet is. Select Display as Icon Click Insert Click Ok You will see the icon in your Word document. You can either double-click it to open it or you can right-click to access the spreadsheet. I hope this has been helpful to you. -- Carol A.
