Default Auto Text writes over new entries

I have set up several AutoText entries, but can't seem to figure out what I
did to this one that doesn't make it work properly. When I select an
AutoText entry from the menu, it inserts it. If I select another one (even
if I
space down more), instead of adding it after the initial one I chose, it
deletes my first selection and replaces it with my second selection. What I
have noticed is different on these AutoTexts from others I have created is
that the entire AutoText appears in a shaded grey field. I'm not sure what I
did on this one differently. Any help you can provide would be greatly
appreciated.

How are you inserting the autotext? The only way, that I'm aware of, that
would make autotext behave that way is if you inserted it Insert, Field, then
autotext and even then it wouldn't "replace" your previous insertion. It
might be to your advantage to redo that particular autotext.

If you press Alt+F9, what field code (if any) is shown?
