Default Why I can't set a default font ?

My current font is Times New Roman. I want to change in VNI-Times. I go to
Format, then to Font. After choosing VNI-Times in the Box Font, I click to
Default. But the font VNI-Times applies only at the current cursor. When I
tape the next word, the font comes back to Times New Roman. How I must do to
set my favorable default font for all the next use in Word Office ?

I assume you also answered "yes" when prompted after clicking Default...? Do
you still see TNR in new documents you subsequently create?

Note that modifying the default font by clicking the Default button in
the Font dialog box affects the Normal style (and styles based on
Normal, assuming the font hasn't been explicitly modified in these
styles) of the current document and its attached template. It won't
change formatting in other existing documents. For more, see
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customizat...alTemplate.htm.

If the font changes back to Times New Roman as you press Enter, it
could be that the style used has the "Style for following paragraph"
set. Display the Modify Style dialog box (see
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/styl...ifyAStyle.html) and change
the "Style for following paragraph" option back to the style you are
changing.
