Default Seek list of versions of Word

Can I ask you specialists some questions.

I have Word 2003 (version 11) SP3 running on Win/XP SP2.

(1) Am I right in thinking that the only version of Word for Windows
which came after that is Word 2007?

(2) Is it true that many people advocate NOT upgrading from Word 2003
to Word 2007 because of some sort of drawbacks in 2007?

Word 2003 moved to Word 2007. There were no version releases in between and
the next version is still under development.

Many users dislike Word 2007 because of its new inflexible interface and
HUGE learning curve.

1. Yes

2. Yes, some people do say that. However ,many people advocate the upgrade
because of the new features.

1) Yes.
2) Yes. Many people find it hard to learn. Some are simply resistant to
change. Some, like many in my company, simply don't like it.
