Opening Lotus Wordpro documents
I have loads of old Lotus Wordpro Documents but MS Word doesn't recognise
..LWP files. Why is this and is there a workaround? (Lotus can handle Word documents!) |

Opening Lotus Wordpro documents
Gee, perhaps Microsoft is trying to kill off the competition by making their
software incompatible with the main word processor on the market. You can buy Wordpro for about $30. Save all the files as .rtf format, then you can open this in word. Opening Lotus Wordpro documents
Word has never been able to open native-format WordPro (.lwp)
files. You can download and install the Lotus KeyView program by visiting ftp://ftp.lotus.com/pub/lotusweb/product/smartsuite/ and clicking on KVLOTUS.EXE. Lotus KeyView is a free viewer that will let you open Lotus SmartSuite files (WordPro, 1-2-3, and Freelance Graphics) and then copy and paste to Word or other applications.
