what is "device font" and why can't I access all fonts anymore?
when I go to font, whether from the format - font tool bar or from the style
toolbar in the doc., I get only "device font" and four selections of CPI sizes. I can no longer acces any other fonts, although they are shown in the control panel - font folder. This is something that just started recently. Does anyone know how to get rid of this and access teh various fonts which were previously available? |

In Windows, click on Start | Control Panel | Printers and Faxes.
If the default printer is None, Generic/TextOnly, or Fax, then change the default printer to one that is capable of printing fonts, and you will see more choices in Word.
