how to merge documents making facing pages from the two of them
I would like to combine two Word documents so that the pages from one of the
source documents become odd pages, and the pages from the other source document become even pages in the master document. Is this possible in Word? If yes, please help. Thanks, Zarko |

how to merge documents making facing pages from the two of them
Hi ?B?WmFya28=?=,
I would like to combine two Word documents so that the pages from one of the source documents become odd pages, and the pages from the other source document become even pages in the master document. Is this possible in Word? Nothing built into Word will let you do this automatically. You'd basically need to copy/paste one page at a time. A macro could possibly help with this, but depending on how the two documents are constructed it could be a bit tricky, in practice. You'd definitely have to be sure that both documents are formatted with the same set of styles if things on both pages should look the same. OR, if they should look quite different, make sure you're not using styles with the same name in both documents. To get help with a macro you should ask in a word.vba (developer) newsgroup. Word is not a page layout application. There is no concept of page in the
application. It is a continuous document the 'pages' transient entities determined by several factors. The only way to do this would be by repetitive cutting and pasting. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Zarko wrote: I would like to combine two Word documents so that the pages from one of the source documents become odd pages, and the pages from the other source document become even pages in the master document.
