Working with Word 2003 Text boxes
I am trying to create a text box that I can format then move around the
document. In previous versions of Word, I could open the drawing bar, choose text box, type text, then simpy click fill to add a background color and click text color to change text color. After that, I could grab the whole box and move it around the document. When I try that in 2003, fill doesn't fill in the box with the color I chose. Any ideas what's wrong? |

That still works for me, so it isn't a change in the function of Word. What happens if you right-click the edge of the text box and choose Format Text Box, and try to set the fill color there? -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
