I downloaded a form to Adobe Acrobat reader. It was a pdf file and I cant
edit the information. Is there a way to convert it to a word document so it
can be edited.

Not with Acrobat Reader, though you can with Acrobat 7 Standard. There
are several third-party applications available; I've heard Nitro PDF
professional very well spoken of

It's considerably cheaper than Acrobat Reader and is available as a
fully functional 30-day evaluation download.
