How do I set up condional formatting in locked word forms?
I'm setting up a word form, which shall be distributed for use locked.
However, it is essential that users are able to change whether items are 'strikethrough' or not. What is the best way to go about doing this? Conditional formatting? Macro's? I don't know where to start on either so any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks |

Many thanks There is one way that I know of, it is time consuming however. When you need to do is break the section you want the staff to edit and the parts that you done want them to edit. This can be done with section breaks (Insert-Break- Section Break) In the protect document box you can select which sections you want protected, the rest will not be. If you go to Protect Document under the tools menu, you get the pop-up on the right hand side. Then in the 2: Editing Restrictions select "From Fields only", then you will get a blue link under that the reads "Select section..." then just uncheck the ones that you want open for editing. Hope this helps. ~Amanda~ |
