I've created a doc that appears as read ornly when I send in emai.
I extracted some pages from a pdf file and saved to a Word doc file. I can
work with it just fine, but when I send to others they received a document that says read only. I've tested it out again - same process - extracted another few pages from another pdf file (I use adobe 9) and the same thing. No matter how I save, it comes up as read only when I send to another user. |

How is the recipient working with the document? Note that e-mail attachments
should be saved to the hard drive before editing. Also, note that the recipient may have to Unblock the file before it will be editable (this is a security feature). Look for an Unblock button in the File Properties dialog box (which you can open by right-clicking the file and choosing Properties from the context menu). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "arlene" wrote: I extracted some pages from a pdf file and saved to a Word doc file.
