Hi,

How do i draw a customised text border around "chapter heading" under the
heading 1 format ? The Chapter Title exceeds the border perimeter as shown
below.

You can add a border to the style you are using (or directly to text
via Format | Borders and Shading). You can set the distance between
the border and the text (a maximum of 31 pt is allowed).
