Why does my "insert" key no longer work when using Word?
Having upgraded to Office 2007, I found that the "insert" key on the keyboard
no longer works! I reinstalled the software for my Microsoft keyboard but this has made no difference. Not being able to overtype is going to be a real pain! |

Why does my "insert" key no longer work when using Word?
By default, in Word 2007 the Insert key does not toggle Overtype mode. To
restore the behavior of previous versions: Click the Office button, and then click Word Options. In the Advanced category, select "Use the Insert key to control overtype mode."
