Default Slanted Text

Our company just upgraded to Office 2003 and we can't figure out how to slant
text in a table. We found how to make it vertical, but the slant eludes us.
It's still there, somewhere, right?

Hi Wench,

Word has, unfortunately, never had the ability to do slanted text other than through the use of either WordArt
(Insert=Picture=Wordart)
or by inserting an Excel worksheet as your table
(Insert=Object=Microsoft Excel Worksheet) that uses that feature on column headings/cells

Could have sworn we did it before but apparently not.
Thanks!

You're probably remembering Excel, which does permit diagonal headings. You
can rotate text in a table to vertical but not diagonal.
