Hi

Has anyone encountered this problem before? I have created a table of two
columns. Within the left-hand table I have inserted number bullets. Each time
I re-open the document, the bullets have disappeared.

Can someone help?

First, check that you do not have "Automatically update document styles" set
on in Tools Templates and Add-ins.

Then, apply your bulleting using a style, not the bullets button. See:
