Default Tables duplicating using Compare FEATURE

This is such a pain... when comparing 2 documents (using Word2000) and there
is a table involved... it duplicates the blank lines of a deleted table.
How do I get it to STOP doing that!

Cathy -

Showing that the table is deleted is by design of Tracked Changes.
However, there are quite a few instances where it is better to just
accept the changes for the offending object. Accepting that the table
is deleted is one of them. Another is accepting that a footnote is
deleted, so that the footnote numbers display correctly rather than
indicating a missing number is another one.

I hope that helps.
