Default enable macro

I have a word template with a command button that all of the sudden stopped
working and i dont know why. when i go to visual basics and run the code, it
tells me the macros in the project are disabled. i tried lowering the macro
security to medium but that did not solve the problem. how do i fix this? i
cannot find anything to enable macros.

thanks,

Default enable macro

In Tools | Options, Security tab, click Macro Security. On the Trusted
Publishers tab, make sure that "Trust all installed add-ins and templates" is
checked. Then place your macro template in such a trusted location.
