Default how can I do mathmatical equations with sub numbers?

Is there a way to be able to do a mathematical equation with sub numbers?
Such as I=(T sub 2 + T sub 1)/ (K * 1 sub T)?

I think what you are asking is how to apply subscript?
Select the number then CTRL+= (CTRL++ for superscript)
