Is there a way to change the default color of the lines and the weight? I
hate having to change from black and a small weight about 50 times a day. Thanks |

What lines, specifically?
If you mean lines drawn with the tools on the Drawing toolbar, right-click any line that has the color and weight you want, and click Set AutoShape Defaults. This sets the default only for the current document. If you want it to hold for all new documents, do the same procedure in the Normal.dot template (see http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Custom...lTemplate.htm). -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
