In Word 2003 when I began typing my name/address stuff it autocompleted it

Word 2007 memory stuff
Obviously it can't know how to finish the AutoText entry until I create it.
How do I do that? Right now if I type the first 4 letters of my name and hit F3 it finishes entering my entire name only. I want it to enter name and address. "Suzanne S. The autocomplete function is not implemented in 2007 so you will have to
revise those multi-layer autotexts that share the leading parts of their names to make the first four letters unique. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Panic wrote: Obviously it can't know how to finish the AutoText entry until I create it. Word 2007 memory stuff
OK. I found 2 workarounds. 1. I made a macro for my name/address and it
pulls up easily. 2. I made a "template" file that has my name/address and an automatic changing current date. So if I want to start a letter with that info I just pull up the template file. Both work fine but I miss the autocomplete. "Graham Mayor" wrote in message ... You might find it more useful to use a CreateDate filed in the template than
the changing Date field.
