Word -select text then press backspace no longer deletes text . He
Defaults I didn't change have changed. Select text then press backspace no
longer deletes text. Some changes I have fixed but have no idea how to fix my "backspace" problem. |

In Word, click on Tools | Options | Edit | check the "Typing
replaces selection" box | OK. Word confusion wrote: Defaults I didn't change have changed. Select text then press backspace no longer deletes text. Some changes I have fixed but have no idea how to fix my "backspace" problem. |

I'm wondering if you turned on WordPerfect compatibility in your Tools Options dialog.
