Default Is it possible to link fields in Word with an Access database

I am creating a Word document that users can fill-in with fields. This is to
collect data for natural resource features. I am wondering if there is any
way to link this "data" into an Access database. I am quite sure I am going
about this backwards, though just wanted any general comments about this.
Thanks!

I wish I could provide a more specific URL, but Dian Chapman (MouseTrax
Computing Solutions) has some material on interconnection between Word and
Access. I hope others will chime in as well.
