Default E-mail part of a Word document to someone (not the entire document

Is there a way to e-mail a specific part of Word document to someone? Like
when you print....you can select a certain part of the document and then
select print "selection"

If you just want to "re-use" the text, you can copy and paste it into
an email message. But if the document should be sent as an attachment,
there must be a file on disk. The following article explains how to
make the task a little easier; it describes, among other things, how
to save the selection to a new document:

Copy that portion of the document and either paste it directly into an e-mail
or another document and e-mail it.
