How do i repair the corrupted file as what the winword help show? - Click File Open. - Click once on the document to select it -- do _not_ double-click it. - Click the down arrow at the right end of the Open button in the lower right corner of the dialog. - Select "Open and Repair" at the bottom of the dropdown. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |

In the File open dialogue box, select the file, then "do not click open", but
click the arrow next to it to open the list. Select open and repair. -- Brian McCaffery "fish" wrote: i just can't find the open and repair button. How do i repair the corrupted file as what the winword help show? |
