Headings, Captions, and References
Is there a way to correlate the headings, figure captions, and references to
the figure in the text? The idea is that if a heading changes, the caption and reference in the text change accordingly. |

Headings, Captions, and References
If you use Insert | Reference | Caption to create your caption, you can use
"Include chapter number" to include the paragraph number of an autonumbered heading in any of the nine built-in heading styles. You can then use Insert | Reference | Cross-reference to insert a cross-reference to either heading or caption. Cross-references don't update automatically but will update when you print or Print Preview or update fields explicitly with Ctrl+A, F9. -- Suzanne S.
