Default Unable to use Word properly

I have installed microsoft Works Suite 2005 which incorporates Word . Word
has now gone into reduced functionality mode and i am unable to get it to
activate despite having the product key for it.

Any suggestions ????

Yes I have activated it . It keeps coming up with the fact that I need to
activate it again I go through that process but nothing changes
