See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Genera...tSpecChars.htm
For that specific character, enter the code number 03c0 and press Alt+X. Alternatively, use the Insert Symbol dialog to select the character from the Basic Greek subset of any Unicode font (set the Font dropdown in that dialog to "(normal text)" and the "from" dropdown to "Unicode (hex)" ). If you use the symbol often, make an AutoCorrect or a shortcut key for it. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |

"Dan" wrote in message ... You mean this? ? Choose Symbol from the Insert drop down Menu. In the Subset box at right, scroll down to Basic Greek, then scroll to the PI sign. |
