Unfortunately Word ignores the printer settings/
capabilities for color when it's in Print Preview (Powerpoint does support toggling the color on/off). In Word you can select the graphics and apply the greyscale setting to them via the Picture toolbar, or you may have an optin setting in your printer driver that shows you a preview of the document based on the current printer settings before it prints. If you have MS Office 2003 you can also choose the MS Office Document Imaging Printer choice and 'print' to a greyscale TIFF format, or many fax 'printers' also are limited to showing how a document will look in greyscale. ========= "powermadness" wrote in message ...
