Default Using Different Headers imported from Linked Documents

Hello, what is the correct sequence for inserting linked documents (each with
their own headers& footers) into one large document?

I am using the includetext field to insert documents (separated by page
breaks) into a single large document. Adding the documents sequentially puts
the headers in correctly (ie, each new document has its proper header)
however, I want to be able to insert a new document in between two sections
without it forcing me to use the (incorrect) header/footer from the previous
section. I've tried removing the "same as previous" link between headers,
deleting the header/footer and reinserting the section, but then it doesnt
import the header of the new document!

Can anyone help? Thanks in Advance!
