Default word wrap on word 2003 doesn't work for all fonts. ideas?

I have found that word wrap on my word 2003 doesn't work for all fonts. For
example, in ariel it works and in feltpoint it doesn't. The words just get
split in 2 at the end of the line. Are you able to share an explanation and
solution, or provide a venue that could??

Thanks

Word wrap doesn't work if the font is internally defined as a symbol font.
