I am trying to generate from a text in word a table with the number of times
that each word in a text appears. Is there a macro or a program to solve
this problem?

Thanks in advance

One simple way to do this is to Use Find and Replace. You set Word to find a
word and replace it with the same Word. When Word has finished, it will
report how many replacement were made.

that is a good idea. I want to make it run automatically. Thake the
first word, replace it with blanc's, the number of replacements should
be printed or listed with the word, than take the following word, and so
on till the end. But how do i make this macro or program
