We have 2 offices. Head office has Word 2000 while the remote has Word 97.
When Head office sends a Word document with a table in it, the Word 97
machines just get a blank page.

Is there a fix ?

Head office should be saving as 97 always. Set all machines this way:
Tools--Options, Save tab. "Disable features..."
