Default MS WORD 2003

I have MS WORD 2003. I used to be able to close all my word docs all at the
same time by hitting the red X, now it seems that I need to close them one at
a time, what am I doing wrong?

Default MS WORD 2003

In Word 2003, click on Tools | Options | View tab | uncheck the
"Windows in Taskbar" box | OK.
