Default Headers & Page margins

Hi Jackie

I think you're on the right track. However, if Word detects content in a
header or footer that won't fit in the space you've allowed, it stretches
the space (rather than trucating the content). It will stretch headers down
into the space you kept for the body of the document, and stretch footers

So maybe you have some content in the footer. Click the button on the
toolbar. That will display non-printing characters including a sign at the
end of every paragraph. Maybe you have a whole lot of empty paragraphs in
the footer. If so, delete them.

Once you do get it working, beware of the limits of your printer. See the

What am I doing wrong?
