Default Word 2003

After years of Office 2000 I found that the install disks wouldn't
work when I did a clean install, so I've upgraded to Office 2003. I
find it disconcerting because each time I load Word or Excel (the only
elements that I've installed) part of the screen is taken up by a help
facility. I really, really do not want it but in spite of trawling
through options and customize I can't find any way to turn it off
permanently.

Does anyone know how?

Colin

See this great little add-in for Word to resolve your problem with the Task
Pane.
