[L.S.[_2_]]

Was messing around with special characters(em & en) and somehow lost the
'symbol' icon under Insert.
Right clicked on menu toolbar and went to 'Customize'--
'commands'--highlighted Insert toolbar and tried to move the Symbol icon to
the toolbar but it didn't work.

suggestions please,

Got it thanks.

I was trying to drag the icon from the commands section to the "insert" icon
under categories instead of the actual Insert on the Menu bar.
DUH!!!
